Lamar Jackson set to return in Week 8 was the headline on Yahoo's league overview — he is the Truthers' superflex starter this week.
Byes are shaping benches everywhere: with NO, NYG, SF and HOU off, starters are thin and IR/bench stashes are full — see each team tab for who is sitting.
Injury notes at check time: Emeka Egbuka (O, IR) for Saquonda, Brian Robinson Jr. (O, IR) for Kelvin's, De'Von Achane on IR for I get CEH, and Davante Adams on IR for The Masked Offender.
Because this is a total-points league, there is no single opponent each week — every Week 8 point stacks into the season totals above.
Latest first · Oct 25–30, from Yahoo's transactions page
I get Vick had been one of the quieter wires all week — its only move in this window is the 3:58 PM trade with Saquonda Forever at the top of this list.

The cap is a house rule: $250 plus the league's most expensive drafted player — Ja'Marr Chase at $70 — so $320 for every team. Every team is under it; the Testaverde Truthers are closest at $299, with $21 to spare. A player's salary is his auction price and follows him in a trade — Chase's $70 now counts against Raging Dumpster Fire, and Joe Burrow ($43) and Tee Higgins ($33) count against the Truthers. Waiver and free-agent pickups show no salary on Yahoo, so they add nothing to these totals; on the team tabs they are marked —.
Auction · Completed Sat, Sep 5 at 11:39 PM PDT
Every team drafted 18 players, and the auction prices paid add up to $247–$250 per team — every drafted list on the team tabs shows each player's price. Each team tab shows that team's full drafted 18 in draft order next to its current roster, so you can see at a glance who survived, who was traded, and who arrived off the wire. Commissioner update from draft night (Sep 5, 11:52 PM): waiver priority was changed from “old order” to “new order” by Drake Maybe Not.

One round · 12 picks · Order from the current standings
The 2027 rookie draft is one round of 12 picks, and the order runs worst team first — the last-place team picks #1, the second-to-last picks #2, and so on down to the league leader at #12.
Each pick carries a fixed price: Pick #1 costs $12, and the price drops $1 per pick — $11 for #2, $10 for #3, all the way down to $1 for pick #12.
The order below is set from the standings as of the Oct 30, 2026 snapshot — Yahoo's last update at 12:08 AM PDT that day, with Week 8 still in progress. It is updated weekly as the standings move, so a team's slot and price follow its place in the table each week.
| Pick | Team | Manager | Standing now | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Brian | 12th · 866.66 pts | $12 | |
| 2 | Glen | 11th · 926.46 pts | $11 | |
| 3 | Bradley | 10th · 992.92 pts | $10 | |
| 4 | Marcus | 9th · 1,030.82 pts | $9 | |
| 5 | Brad (from Ryan) | 8th · 1,054.80 pts | $8 | |

| 7 | Dexter | 6th · 1,061.20 pts | $6 | |

| 11 | Brian (from Chris) | 2nd · 1,199.26 pts | $2 | |
| 12 | Marcus (from Zanny) | 1st · 1,260.22 pts | $1 |

Test a deal against the $320 cap before you propose it
Pick your team and a trade partner — every team is shown as Team name (Owner). Tap the players you'd send and the players you'd get — including any 2027 draft picks either side owns. Right below “You send” is “You'd drop” for anyone else on your roster you'd cut to make it fit, and right below “You get” is “They might drop” for anyone else on their roster they might cut to make it fit on their side. The cap check updates as you tap, for both teams.
Salaries are each player's auction price and follow him in a trade. A player marked — has no salary on Yahoo (waiver / free-agent pickup) and counts as $0. Draft picks are shown in italics at their current projected cost for next year (Pick #1 $12 down to Pick #12 $1)* — they don't count toward the $320 cap, because a pick uses no salary until it's used on a rookie on draft night. Current holdings reflect the reported trades: Marcus (I get Vick) holds Pick #12, Brian (I get CEH) holds Pick #11, and Brad (The Masked Offender) holds Pick #5, so Zanny (Saquonda Forever), Chris (The Testaverde Truthers), and Ryan (Raging Dumpster Fire) no longer list those picks. Rosters and salaries are from the Oct 30 snapshot on the team tabs.

* Pick costs shown in italics are the current projected cost of that pick next year. A pick doesn't use up any salary until it's used on a rookie on draft night, so traded picks are not counted in the cap totals or the fit check above.
Dropping a player frees his full salary for the team dropping him. Your drops sit directly under “You send” and their possible drops sit directly under “You get”, so each side's cuts stay with that side's part of the trade. If you're still over after a trade, the verdict above tells you exactly how much more salary has to go — send or drop bigger contracts until both teams are at or under $320.
